Sunrise Celebration Returns to Solstice Dates for 2012 !!
• Sunrise dates change to 21st-24th June 2012 to align with the summer solstice
• Due to record sales £75 super earlybird tickets have already sold out !!
• Earlybird £95 tickets are still available but are likely to sell out by end of August or sooner!
We are really excited to announce a change of dates for Sunrise 2012.
We are moving from our usual weekend, and taking the opportunity of holding the festival over Summer Solstice.
The Solstice weekend is usually home to Glastonbury Festival, but next year Michael Eavis will be taking one of his fallow years, allowing the land to recover and lending some of his infrastructure to the London Olympics.
Sunrise began as a summer solstice festival in 2006, the last year Glastonbury had a year off, and organisers are thrilled to once again put on their event on over this time.
Sunrise is so much about celebration through connection to the earth and its cycles, and what ever your beliefs this a really important time in human evolution.
This year lots of exciting plans are afoot on how best to mark the Solstice at the event, and these will be announced soon
Tickets are on sale now and the first earlybirds round have already sold out in record time !!
We have a limited release of 200 x £95 early birds out now, and they are likely to sell out by end of August or sooner, so now is the time to secure cheap tickets if you are coming for this epic gathering of the tribes!

Sunrise Off Grid, is the second event of the season to be organised by the Sunrise Festival team. It takes place on the beautiful eco Fernhill Farm high up in the Mendip hills from the 18th – 21st August. With tickets sales strictly limited to 500 it is more of an intimate camp than a festival.
“Off Grid is Sunrise distilled to it’s purest form. Still with great music and entertainment the focus however is on all things that pertain to Off Grid living, with workshops, talks and a 13 module Off Grid college which runs over the four days. It’s what we here at Sunrise want to offer to everyone passionate about learning to live more sustainably on the planet”, said Dan Hurring, Off Grid organiser.
