how long have they been selling packs of go-cat the same size as humans’ cereal boxes?
I’m sure i’ve never seen these outside East Anglia but there were some in the village co-op…
They look like you could feed all the inmates of the cats’ home – but I suspect what is happening is these boxes are being devoured daily by two or three cats
I have seen some of the fattest cats in this county in 15 years of observing them – funniest one was a neighbours cat who sat on a post in my garden whilst I was cooking my tea and tried to do the “poor starving kitty” thing.
I just burst out laughing…
my cat eats what it finds and if it dont find nothing it dont eat nothing thems the rules, might start chargeing it rent
so you’re the one responsible for this?
“Who ate all the go cat, who ate all the go cat?!”
Maybe they should consider selling deep fried go-cat in the chippies around here. Compete with scotlands various deep fried food goods and keep the fat cats happy… and short lived.
ill tell you how to save some cash …
get your cats water bowl … fill with ‘go-cat’ … leave overnight to soak and come back to the cats equivilent of wheetos
… *sings* “cash con-ver-ters”
… now thats one happy cat
I don’t think the amount of food we feed our cat matters, the little bastards eat al sorts they catch. I have juts woken up and let a blackbird out the front door they have caught, I mowed the back lawn yesterday and had to clear up the bits of half eaten animal before I cut the grass 🙂

I dunno, invite you down for a couple of days and you call my kitties fat!
I used to have big fuck off tom cat, mass killing machine, you had about a 30 minute window for his daily feed or he’d go off and drag something back, sometimes just as an after snack, he was big but very fit due to constant roaming but he had pouch of loose skin dangling due to occasionaly stuffing himself silly and sleeping for a couple of days
yours were quite slim compared to the others I’ve seen around Ipswich :laugh_at:
that cat what was in my garden a few weeks back was hilarious, it was just the look on its face when I was cooking, proper cracked me up. Had it actually been a lost stray I would have fed it, but it was huge and even had a heart shaped tag on its collar, turned out it was from a house too doors down..
The dogs too, and even some of the wild creatures (I suspect this is due to the amount of food scraps in bins etc) – I’ve seen pigeons land on openreach (telephone) overhead cables and make the cables sag..
My sister has noticed this too in Reading…
I’ve always wanted to get one of these –
Maine coon the biggest breed of domestic cat, absolute badman!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maine_Coon

Blatantly the best pet you could have, he aint gonna take no shit from the other cats in the ‘hood!
Nothing would bother him! I think you would have some right interesting “presents” brought home by it :laugh_at:
Would have to call him titch or something like that :weee:
