I had Purple dread extensions in when i moved down here in Nov 2010 and I loved them… i didn’t have the patience to wait and wasn’t sure if they’d suit me so didn’t get my real hair done… i’d love them again i really suited them…. BUT… now i’m a manager for Mercedes-Benz there’s no way i can get them back in again 🙁 gutted… x

Ohh that sounds lovely Acidfairy! I thought about going for the totally synthetic extensions as friends of mine have had and they’ve looked lush! and such vibrant colours!

I am just so so fed up with my hair, been trying to grow it siince I chopped it all off, and its just so boring and rubbish I thought ‘fuck it’,
get em done, and if I dont like / when I get bored cut em off, as this is the other option I am thinking about – getting it all cut off again, so win win

But yeh, as I said earlier I am totally unsure how its gonna go down at work, the only saving grace is my top top manager is blind :laugh_at:

so doubt he would notice!! I’ve brought a couple of those headbands so I can tie them up and I’ve got tea tree oil and rosemary oil on order for my scalp as I’ve read it can get a bit sore. did yours?

my girl had dreds done a few years ago in camden, she came out looking like a cross of coolio and sideshow bob, had to go back there and protest to get are money back… i loled[ATTACH=CONFIG]152052[/ATTACH]

Oh dear, what did she do in the end? did she keep them?
I’ve checked out the guys work, who’s gonna do mine, and he seems very accomplished, I’m gonna have to get a few extensions done to stop myself looking like coolio!! as I have some layers and I recon they’re a bit too short and may be a bit sticky up!!

My head did get a bit itchy but i put a mixture of tea tree and rosemary oil and water in a spray bottle and would spray it on my scalp.. soothed my head and smelt nice 🙂

yea,she had them all taken out using olive oil and a crocheted out,she wanted it to look grouped up at the back with a normal fringe thing going on.

Wanted dreads for years but never went ahead and did it. My hairs certainly long enough but it grows so unnaturally straight it would almost be a shame to dread it. Girls frequently ask me if I straighten my hair and always look envious when I reply no
