someone found and scanned the zine I helped put together earlier that year (on a old IBM PC from late 1980s). I lived in SE England back then, and went to a fair few Advance Party meetings/events.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get to that demo as I was in Malaysia that summer; and had forgotten myself that I did these (as by the 2000s I didn’t have hardware that would read the disks and the original master copies got eaten by mice; me and the cat were too busy meowing at my sister to get food instead) but some kind person has hoarded their copy and scanned the various zines (these can be found on a few websites), never thought I’d see them again
Still love the music as much as i did back in 1989 onwards and its a shame that the free party scene was dismantled.Clubs have gone the same way as well. Many valid points made in those advance party statements though.Attending a car boot sale made me laugh.
