Bearing in mind the number of “establishment” people who would appear to have been “damaged” by acid… is it any wonder we are in the state we are in?
ON THE OTHER HAND… psychedelics have been used by many different cultures and societies. Perhaps they are not so much “damaging” as “potent”.
So I guess it would depend on whether or not they brought benefits or hardships to the users of them. Whether they enhanced life or destroyed it…
… I don’t take chemical psychedelics any more, but I have no regrets that I did. They should be handled with care.
Then again life should be full of care, but not so much you can’t stand and stare.
