Mother talking about her sons strugles after becoming involved with legal highs.
Good link, sad story.
having taken a fair bit of the “old skool” stims and depressants at various times in my youth I can easily see how a mix of the new stuff might “seem” safe but become cumulatively worse when regularly used by a young person – without full disclosure of the ingredients it is near impossible for healthcare professsionals to assist patients.
And that is made even worse by the fact that even though these are new and not yet illegal. Research into these new drugs never gets done probably because no-one will fund the research.
I was just thinking earlier that kids are informed about all the major illegal drugs in school so they at least have some info to call upon if they ever come across them. With RCs however, especially branded chems which if contents are listed have a very good chance of being bullshit and so the user doesn’t know what they’ve taken and even if they still had the packaging kisting the ingredients there’s a good chance they don’t match the contents and so I can see how they get considered dangerous. Sadly the safest chems are already illegal.
