  • and decided to only work when it wants. it still works if you click it, but it doesnt bring up the menu its supposed to so its not actually stopped working just wanting to be difficult.

so answers on the back of a postcard pls.

    Terima kasih.. 🙂

normally its my mum calling me at random hours from SE Asia asking for computer help

probably the effects of humidity / contamination getting into the button.. dude, you’re in SE Asia, don’t they have chinese shops selling computer mice for a few dollars/rupees? (In “Indian” type nations the Chinese run the corner shop) :laugh_at:

You might have a virus on your computer mate. Run a check, it happened to my laptop, run a check and see if that helps.

Incidentally my mouse is fucked as well. It’s a laser one and it doesn’t move properly. Think i need a new one!

nah it still works if i click a part of the screen the mouse icon goes there, but say if i click on a link on pv and want to open it in a different tab, the menu that would allow me to do that doesnt come up when i select the link and click the right button..

TBH I guessed (having had exactly the same issue a while back) but there are other ways of finding out..

it is a strange one, I found opening up a entire new browser window sometimes solved it..

Do you have the yahoo toolbar?

If so get rid of it.

    Alternatively

    1. Go to Tools > Options.
    2. Go to the Content tab.
    3. Here you’ll see a lot of checkboxes. Look at the bottom one that says “Enable Javascript”. Click the Advanced button next to it.
    4. Now you’ve got a little window with even more checkboxes! There is one in there that says Disable or replace context menus. Uncheck this box.

no matter what anti virus progam you use u will allways get viruses that it doesn’t detect … for a start new viruses are bringmade all the time designed to get round current antivirus software .. and tbh … alot of antivirus companies make viruses and spread them about and only there antivirus software can fix it … so u have to buy there sofatware to fix it … you’re pc is never 100% safe (or laptop)

mine does that in every browser except google chrome
