watched it yesterday , pretty grim
did they not have to stop showing it due to legal reasons? are the last episodes out now then?
I think at least one Court case has been heard anyway. its possible someones leaked them out from the BBC as a lot of media folks jobs are under threat anyway and thats when they stop “playing nice”…
yes it was pulled off air . It was then sceduled for the unseen ones to be shown but was later cancelled again pending another court case, i will have a look for the other missing episode , if i find it i will stck it up.
@generallighting – i hope it was bbc employees who released it , getting a little revenge for losing theyre jobs raaa
cheers. sadly that episode 4 has been removed now too grr

ooh thats a cunt raaa if i see it anywhere i will get it to you

looked like way too good quality to have come from off air source, yet stuff like credits/VT clock had been cropped out of it (these can contain extra metadata to identify which equipment it came from).
Whilst I support to an extent the employees fighting back, I’d still prefer it if they leaked a Doctor Who or Eastenders or Top Gear episode instead.
I’m not a fan of any of them (hardly watch telly) and even my personal taste and interest in Scottish culture means I would find the missing episodes of Scheme as interesting as either of you – but those are real people on the film what have right to privacy and due process from the Courts before the media and public get a chance to live them – even if they do choose to live like scum.
I thought the MP’s description of the journalists as “sleekit” was accurate (a good word too..)

morally you have a point but I still want to watch it. I will keep away from the court.

yeah i understand and respect the people and the courts right to privacy. I also respect these are real people and that is their life, its just interesting watching and a bit of a insight. Makes me appreciate how good i’ve got it , up until recently i was unemployed and thought i had it tough but it still wasnt half as bad as the shit some of the people on The scheme have to live with .
“sleekit” simple but effective :laugh_at:

its different laws etc anyway up there but they are a lot stricter about some things…I believe the Court case will be heard fairly soon anyway, so it should only be a few weeks to wait. Once the court case has been heard there’s then the counterargument all of us in the UK are now fully entitled to watch it as part of our TV license, as considerable money has been spent.
it is personal for me as close friends have been badly affected from not properly managing media coverage of their activities or even being able to do so as the odds are stacked so firmly against them – censorship in the UK has been relaxed in the last 25 years which lulls people into a false sense of security that the country is more tolerant than it is.
They tried to use youtube to put their case across and it made things even worse, they lost a fair few stacks, some people lost their liberty and friendships were permanently destroyed.
whats ironic is I really do enjoy taking photos and videos, and quality journalism which is not shy to report bad news – but I also realise the power of “free expression” so am careful how it is used.

how did they use youtube? is this the lads that were sent down for organising a rave?
them and many others.
they just put their videos online, youtubes indexing brought everything together, the BBC and other media used them without permission as it was “free content” and some journos also told the cops “do you realise this sort of thing is all on youtube?”
Many TV crime reporters do work much more closely with the cops than print media as especially now scanners don’t work its the only way they get the tip offs they require to get all the “raid in progress” footage, they are now all pro-police and have no qualms about stitching folk up as long as they get the good footage.
