There have been software suites designed for hiding certain data from search engines and even websites such as DuckDuckGo that recently became even more wildly popular protect those that desire such stated protection.
Adding a ROBOTS.txt file stops googles web crawler indexing the site so it’s not really hard to not have much appear in google. Duckduckgo actualy gets many of it’s results from google just makes searches more anonymous. None of that affects 3rd parties who store data on you if they get hacked.
