Id go straight for 20x or higher if you can find it. Iv done 20x, 40x and 80x. As with anything that will have you tripping balls the environment, dose and your state of mind and personality will all be contributing factors in how you will react to the substance. Im surprised nobody has yet mentioned make sure you bong it and hold it in at least 10seconds as smoking it in a spliff wont work. It can be either a torturous experience or a blissful one, iv personally endured both. Only ever had a bad experience when mixing it with others chemicals though so I advise being sober when you try it. My bad experience involved a cocktail of weed, alcohol and ketamine as well as the salvia. Wont scare you with the full details of what happened but it involved native american indians, totem poles, tomahawks, fiery dinosaurs and me as a sacrafice, nuff said. However iv also been ingratiated with the fully positive spiritual trip that few seem to experience. This happened the first time I tried it (40x and I was sober). I took the bong and held it for around 15seconds then without warning it simultaneously slapped me in the face and kicked me in the balls! I had no idea what had happened or where I was but I felt amazing. My bedroom had transformed into what can only be described as an arctic rain forrest. I couldnt remember taking the salvia but acknowledged that something about my surrounding was unusual so naturally I came to the conclusion I must have been the inventor of a teleportation device. I was suddenly overwhelmed with a sense of acheivement and euphoria stronger even than the buzz you get off your first ever pill. I just sat their in awe as the surges of super contentment coursed through my entire body, I felt completely at one with the universe, a real sense of enlightenment. This lasted im guessing around 7minutes during which I was unable to move but moving felt wrong as if it would disrupt the bond between me and the heavenly landscape. Then as quickly as it had enveloped me I thrust back into reality but with the lingering sense of peacefullness. I remained still and silent for a couple of minutes savouring the memory and sensation of what id just experienced.
Salvia IS NOT A PARTY DRUG! This is why many have a shitty experience, treat it with respect and you may be fortunate enough to have the wonderful spiritual experience that I had and that ancient mayan civilisations used it for. But it is best to have a ‘sitter’ somebody you trust and feel comfortable with and you know wont fuck with your head if it goes a bit tits up. Best thing to remember is it only lasts 10-15mins so even if its nasty its not long, under its influence you wont remember you’re only tripping and dont have any expectation cos anything can happen. Oh yeah much easier said than done but dont fight it, even if it places you in a personal hell go with the flow, resistance worsens it 10 fold.
