you are unlikely to see me on any dancefloor unless its in East Anglia, whilst I still enjoy music events a bit its no longer a major part of my life so I don’t put a lot of effort into getting to them…
fiar enough! horses for courses innit!
well my friday is done im off home! the sun has come out over brizzal so jerk chicken & polish beer for me! whoop whoop! have beautifull weekend pv,
much love
Must say GL – its not like you to judge something so harshly without seeing it for yourself.
loads of my friends have tried to get me to go since the 1990s but even their tales and the media have only put me off rather than made me want to go.
I don’t enjoy (very) large groups of people anyway!
Also its also about finances, economics and the triumph of capitalism that glastonbury really stands for. the locals hated it, until Eavis teamed up with Mean Fiddler and forced out the travellers and made it “pay its way”, now they grudgingly endure it. A total and complete cave in to the demands of the market.

In the same way I boycott certain other companies for their politics, I will never put money their way no matter how much allegedly goes to “charity”.
Its too expensive anyway, its like how I wouldn’t spend £200 on a wristwatch (and I like watches).
The same applies to events like Glade which a lot of my mates have tried to get me to go to..
:laugh_at::laugh_at: cracked me up

glade is worth the money tho imo. the whole festie is full of all the types of music i like and shit loads of wicked acts from everywhere. and its run by party people that actually want you to have a good time and not just take your cash and run. I fully agree about glasto tho. If i went id be spending 170+ for pretty much just a ticket to go to the dance area, cause thats where id be spending most of my time! the massive amounts of people at glastonbury properly did my head in as well.
what wasthe last 3 dayer you went to?
yeah that was a ace party, party i went to weekend just gone was so good as well. same vibe as welshtek, proper good atmosphere and loads of friendly faces, no trouble and not really any hassle from the cops. Also people were telling me that there was partys going on all over the shop that weekend, gonna be a good summer i reckon! :love: :bounce_flash:
