:bounce_flash:
its mostly the angry young men, not the preachers what do this (preachers are too smart and cowardly to risk their lives) – and in our country the Christian preachers taught the lads to leave the bomb behind rather than blow themselves up as well, that way they can be ready to build the next one.
we actually had 30 years of war and 3000 dead from religious violence between two Christian sects in the UK, in my living memory, funded in part by Christian Americans, and the conflict is actually still simmering.
I’m signing up to ths cult, they sound wickid. plus Then I wont go to hell, thats a bad place for bad people.
I’m wondering why you highlight this?
isnt it all just the same stuff but re-branded and re-packaged to try and appeal to a difference audience / sub culture ?
is god and jesus now a trendy accessory?
i thought the same.
i think the vast majority of the people on this site are very open minded and are very much aware that sterotypes arent correct.
it doesnt ‘shock’ me, or change my opinions, that he is a christian with tatoos.

I brought that up because of someone saying that the closest thing you have in the UK is Quakers. For some reason some of you seemed to see me as a preacher in a fancy cathedral! Just wanted to dispel that notion…..and it is the Underground Church – for those who do not feel welcome in mainstream churches.
sorry I phrased it that way…..over here everyone is equating the Fundamental Christians with radical Islam!!!!! I am truly sorry I lumped y’all in with that, pls forgive me. And the violence in Ireland is WRONG – period. Jesus NEVER meant for His followers to kill each other!
That statement was just a retort to that post about stereotypes of Fundamental Christians……sorry I misspoke.
my mums mates are quakers and I cant imagine they are anything like your church TBH, and I can imagine her not agreeing with all this hell and damnation stuff….
from my experience they are quiet and reflective and acknowledge their beliefs are not the only way, they meet in the ‘friends meeting’ place – so again not some fancy church or cathederal
beliefs. Quakers seek to experience God directly, within
ourselves and in our relationships with others and the world
around us. We meet together for silent worship in local
meetings which are open to all.
The Quaker way has its roots in Christianity and finds
inspiration in the Bible and the life and teachings of Jesus.
Quakers also find meaning and value in the teachings of
other faiths; we acknowledge that ours is not the only way.
Our focus is on our experience rather than written
statements of belief. Our sense of community does not
depend on professing identical beliefs, but from worshipping,
sharing and working together.
Our Quaker faith springs from the experience that
each one of us can have a direct relationship with the
Divine.
We find that by meeting together for communal worship we
are empowered to find peace and strength for work in the
world. The Quaker testimonies to peace, equality, simplicity
and truth are a challenge to alleviate suffering and seek
positive social change.
Ok, this is quite a long list, so please be patient with me!

I will have page 2 (of 15) later……
Hey I am trying! :crazy::crazy_diz:weee:
I can’t remember exactly who told me on here….I asked if there were any free to worship as you choose Evangelical churches…..they mentioned the Qualkers.
it was General Lighting….
Quote:
Do they have any Evangelical churches over there – in other words very informal, no rituals, just freestyle worship?????
yes. the Society of Friends, otherwise known as Quakers. They tend to be a bit more subtle in their approach…
omg did you hear george carlin was in hell from that fucking asshole from westboro baptist church????!!!!!!!!! (FRED PHELPS IS GOING TO HELL)
Fred Phelps and his family are the only ones going to hell. USA christianity uses the most cripling emotion to push their believes onto others, FEAR.
WTF are the chances of you getting the correct religion? even the correct type of christianity!!
if you do not know of the westboro baptist church you will have alot of fun watching their videos on youtube. GOING OUTSIDE DEAD SOLIDERS FUNERALS AND PROTESTING WITH 5 YEAR OLDS WITH BANNERS SAYING ‘GOD HATES FAGS’ and other horrible things.
