did you go?
i pulled outta that. cant remember what i did instead, probably stayed in bed tbh
yeah it was alright for the time i was there. shame they didnt let it carry on, looked like sunday night would have been a belter.
Consider that to be a good thing…
im sure with you-tube/facebook, and myspace it wont take the southern crew long to realise how good we’ve got it up here and come up and totally fuck it up for us… tbf they’d probably get noticed coming into the county if they all came up in convoy like those few manchester rigs that came down for that facebook party.
well people started smashing up the wind generator bit. also I managed (after being confused by a obsolete map Southcaver sent me!) to work out this whole quarry was the subject of a really contentious local dispute over whether it was to be preserved as a nature reserve or re-used for either quarrying or wind power, with both sides entrenched enough to even suspect the rave was a “conspiracy” by the site owners to trash the place so it could be redeveloped!
hardly surprising it went tits up.
yep, the black rats look out for this (its also how they dealt with the Thetford raves – just by monitoring the A137)
or like them Midlands eco-warriors (apparently they broke into that school too :hopeless:)
look at this for a party site
went ahead (legally) last weekend
fuck me glo, how was that legal… i mean who granted a TEN for that venue? surely it was a bit of a health and safety risk from the councils point of view?
from my point of view that is fucking sick
no more unsafe than the traditional “end of the pier show” (which is probably where this venue was, unless you needed a boat to get to it)
people smashed out their face manage to hurt themselves in relatively safe warehouses
im sure some pillock would manage to find their way into the sea quite easily
the same risk exists on every esplanade/pier but these don’t get closed down…
With a venue of this nature, if the access controls/CCTV/security/stewards are doing their job it can be made a lot more difficult for people to get to the dangerous bits..
i don’t know the people who organised it, but it’s used for all kinds of functions

this is in Hantspol/Dorset force area (just on the border) and they can be almost as harsh as Essex/Suffolk forces… which means that its still possible if people are willing to make a few compromises… hmm, we have stuff like that on the coast round here as well…
