I personally love aMT. Although you need to have the night planned out when taking this stuff as it takes about 1-2 hours to take any effect and easily lasts for about 12 hours with a moderate dose. I consider 30-40mg a moderate dose. It usually takes about 2 hours for me to start feeling anything from it, although some of my friends get quite strong sensations just after an hour. The effects build up very slowly, after about 4 hours you might think “oh this feels quite nice but maybe I should had taken more”. However I encourage you not to re-dose, especially if it is your first time. The effects just keep building up for hours and hours. To me the first 6 hours are quite MDMA like, slightly weaker but getting progressively stronger. I get slight visual stimulation and “breathing” of surfaces during this time, but it’s not until after about 6-8 hours of taking aMT that I start getting more pronounced visuals. The visuals also keep building up and get progressively more intense, but with aMT there seems to be this funny thing that you “snap out of it” for 5 minutes and feel quite clear headed/sober, and then you slowly drift back into the “trippy world” for a few minutes and then snap out of it again. And it keeps going in that kind of cycles all the time. I’m not really able to sleep until about 12 hours after taking it, so when I decide to do it, I take it very early, planning to take it around 5pm the next time. I find that aMT makes me quite giggly as well, something that for example MDMA doesn’t do to me.
Regarding the nausea, I’ve never felt any nausea whatsoever from aMT. None of my friends have experienced any either. Even my friend who gets pretty much always sick from pills has been alright with aMT. We have eaten before taking it every time, but not sure if that actually helps.
None of us has seemed to get any come downs from aMT either. You actually get a bit of after glow the next day, very different “come down” compared to MDMA. Well at least with me.
The only annoying thing is how long it takes to come up and how long it lasts, so you really have to plan your night. Also restrain yourself from re-dosing after few hours. First time we did it, we re-dosed after 2 hours and did the same 35mg dose again, so roughly 70mg in total. The next 2 hours were amazing and lots of fun, but then we had to lay down and I spent the next 36 hours in bed; the first half of the time tripping my tits off and then the second half sleeping. It got very messy and possibly near serotonin syndrome (just a guess). My eyes were rolling, body felt like combusting from inside, got convulsions, and felt like something was literally flowing inside my head. I couldn’t focus my eyes on anything and nothing made sense at all. It got to the point that I couldn’t think anymore, my brain kind of switched off and I guess I passed out a little later, I can’t remember much of it apart from the symptoms I just mentioned. So be careful, aMT is very very potent and only a small dose is needed, it just takes time.
