We have a £ just next to the $ sign. I suppose over there you think only $$$$ are important enough to have on a keyboard.

You could change the keyboard layout to UK then shift n 3 is good.

# = shift + 3 over heres, i think the pound sign is more important than the lb sign

We don’t use lbs over here any more. We have the metric system like the rest of the world.

We still sell beer in pints but not sure we use anything else imperial. Most people are still much more comfortable with distance and speed in miles or mp/h.
