This is very true. Altho I beg to differ that these people are actualy sitting down and desiding for them sleves contiously that they choose to ignore this advise (other then out of anger!). I fear they are fuming about other aspects of of life imposed apon them by desisions not necessarily made by them.
This either manifests into violence or self distruction.
its whats called “parasuicide” – not definite attempts to end life but an increasing level of impulsive, self-destructive and risky behaviour. I’ve seen it in people I know and once thought of as friends (particularly in my old region of SE England which is a big reason why I left).
unfortunately the only solutions are either they find some more fulfilling aspect of life (which many folk eventually do) but if/when they present a risk to others they end up being dealt with by the justice system or the NHS (depending on the circumstances). Life can be “shit” for everyone but they can’t be in control or have what they want allthe time..
ironically there are many party drugs users in some of the most controlled countries in the world what escape sanctions from the authorities or major health problems as they by and large self-regulate their use….
Yeah, Portugal is a good example of that ^
I’m growing more and more unhappy with my own substance abuse…it’s not that I like taking drugs, it’s that I like being wasted or dislike being sober. I need to get the good feelings back whilst I’m sober when a little something now and again becomes a pleasure instead of a means to an end.
Ah well I know what to do… exercise, good food, good books and stay off the chemicals!

I wanna try changa with crystal DMT mixed in.
yes, yes you do! :wink::weee:
Have tried changa which someone brought back from India but such a low dose and not a high enough heat on the flame I think as it just distorted the colours around me…the two others who smoked the bulk of it between them clearly had a very interesting time though.

I sort of understand what you mean – although Portugal has decriminalised there seem to be very strong moral/family/religious values in the country which also discourage excessive drug use. in fact they have not let the country become a free for all, they have a “rehab committee” using psychological pressure to encourage the user to quit drugs..
BBC News – Lisbon’s light-touch drugs policy
A similar culture exists in the Netherlands. I have been very slowly working my way through a “youth advice” magazine for teenagers I found online. It is taking a long time as my Dutch is very basic, but there was a section on drugs and it was clearly hinting that teenage drug use was a very bad idea. Not a scaremongering article but explaining how it made young people lunch out their education and career prospects etc..
Today the Netherlands is becoming bitterly divided on the issue as many folk think “drugs are for losers and encourage foreign criminals into NL. The gedoogbeleid (tolerance) is potentially under threat! The rise of Geert Wilders (who plans to remove the tolerance) and other centre right parties isn’t even completely to do with Islam as such (compared to the UK the Muslims there have wholly failed to launch any viable terrorist attacks!) but a number of Moroccan criminal gangs and East Europeans who are taking over the drugs trade in NL, to the annoyance of people in Amsterdam and the suburbs.
the example I was thinking of is Singapore where mephedrone remains legal but the users seem to not have created half as much of a moral panic as in the UK! Even if the local media suppresses the bad news Malaysia’s tabloids would have reported it as there is a long standing rivalry between the two nations (which were once one country).
I suspect the only way this could have happened in such a controlled country is that they are carefully measuring and timing their dosage so they are energetic enough to go clubbing / partying but do not rinse their bodies/minds to the point they can’t deal with work or family responsibilities.
ah k, it must have been the tiny amount I had then. I think she only had 1.5 doses which she was going to split between two but gave me a tiny touch to try out.
spice was my favourite was sweet when all that shitty sand weed was around
spice was rank. i did some k at the same time as smoking ‘spice gold’ once and spun out big time. went a wee bit mental!
