aye, the authorities certainly do not like being subjected to the same surveillance and scrutiny that they subject others too..
The govt made damn sure the Airwave radio project worked (it was one of the most (or only?) successful govt IT projects) so people couldn’t use radio scanners any more.. (now that was entertainment, far better than big brother)..
