Pumpkins cleared from Norwich road

Pumpkins causing problems on a Norwich road this morning have been cleared.

Police officers were alerted to the problem on Barrett Road, in the south of the city, at about 7am this morning when somebody called to tell them that cars were having to swerve to avoid a number of pumpkins in the road.

A police spokesman said the road was clear by about 7.15am.

what a dumb thing to do, should have lined the road with them for a mile or something rather than risk an accident. Damn students lol

some roads of East Anglia are lined with fruit and veg anyway (people sell it from their doorways in more remote areas.. Given the time this incident was reported and that the cops are not asking for further info its possible they were part of a load shed from a lorry….
