A BIRTHDAY girl had the surprise of her life when her son brought a Suffolk Punch to her home.
Rosemary Amner, of Main Road, Shotley, turned 90 on Saturday and had an extra special birthday treat.
Her son Paul Amner said: “My father worked on a farm in Chelmondiston all his life and both he and mum were brought up around Suffolk Punch horses.
“Because she’s not well enough to get out and about and travel over to Little Horkesley, which is where the horse is kept, we thought we’d bring one to her.”
