Got one of them bikecams from CPC – its not bad although really shaky on the handlebar mount. People suggest using the helmet mount but I don’t wear a crash helmet (I would if I raced but they aren’t the miracle safety gain they are claimed to be on normal riding), plus it would look more bait doing this as coppers on bikes also use these cameras. Also I had to resample the frame rate to 25fps as I am European so make all my videos in PAL, not NTSC with 30fps (or 29.997 drop frame).. the “grain” was deliberately added to make it look like a old film and try and cover up some of the shaking..

Don’t you get stopped for not wearing a lid?

I don’t wear a helmet either, never have never will. If you get hit by a car at speed it’s not going to do anything for you anyway. Never had anyone stop me or anything, just had people recommend I do but tbh it’s my choice…
in the UK (and the rest of the EU as far as I am aware) it is not a legal requirement to wear a helmet when riding a push bike or e-bike (only the riders of mopeds must wear them).
Cycling helmets are made to protect you in the event of a low speed crash amongst cyclists (such as often happens during competitive racing) – they are not actually much good in the event of a crash against a larger vehicle (hence why other countries in the EU separate different types of traffic a bit more and are much stricter about road use compared to the UK)
