smackheads don’t surprise me as coastal areas are always a dumping ground for them but I’d expect most of them to be my age or above (people with reliable supplies can live to be quite old!)… its certainly a myth that Suffolk is crime free – I think its certainly less worse than London but a lot of violent crime occurs amongst people what know one another.
a mate of mine who lives near Diss said its the sort of area where grown men what grew up together will fight each other to the death over a disagreement in middle school, the survivor will do his time and feel no remorse and still hate for his rival and their family when/if he comes out of prison decades later…
all that said I’m originally from London and people have got it good here, even the least well off – they don’t have half the overcrowding and ruthless competitiveness of the capital..
