in the UK, a top football (Soccer) player has been dropped from the England team just for being slightly late in providing a urine sample..

He has not been proven guilty of taking any drugs…
He provided a urine sample within the time limit, but slightly later than the rest of the team….
I’m not even a great soccer fan; and think these chaps although talented sportsmen are overpaid when you take into account their real contribution to society….
but I am frankly quite angry about this pre-judgement and scapegoating of this chap; essentially his employers have taken action against him without proof 🙁
if one employer gets away with it, others will follow….
