I do believe they work when you want to quit the habit of smoking. One problem i see is that more and more people keep on smoking E-cigs even when they stop smoking real cigarettes.I also have a problem with Ecigs in the manner that they are so accepted by the wide population that you see kids 13 – 14 years old vaping on them in school and on the streets. I mean they might be better than cigs but they are not healthy.
I agree totally there.
Erm………

those teens (or at least the 15+ age group) would have only been smoking real cigarettes previously; I did back then (cigarettes were relatively cheap).
You did have to hide in corners of school fields or literally “behnd the bike sheds”; as in 1980s my high school banned cycling to school as “it was unsafe and you could get into a road collision” so there weren’t any bikes in them and we took up unhealthy habits like smoking instead.
Out of curiosity I compared the price of cigarettes from 1987 to 2015 and they have gone up something like 900% due to tax in the UK (I also read somewhere that Danish folk get the “bird line train” to Germany just to buy cigarettes as they are cheaper…
Some of the young smokers have never smoked cigarettes, but the Ecig is so popular in some groups that they smoke it just to be cool. Some of them might never have started smoking real cigarettes.
In denmark it’s illegal to sell the Ecig fluids with nicotine, but it’s very easy to get in small shops and on the internet.
I do agree that they are good to help you stop smoking, but they get used the wrong way.
You just change one bad habit with another.
Although there are no long term health implications it might appear eCigarettes are the best for anybody to get into even if there were.
It’s the new rave and it is during many lung problems from that nasty ass road tar 🙂 …
