Be aware that SOCA now openly admit they consider the presence of contaminated pills or other drugs to be a victory for prohibition, whilst they acknowledge the greater risk to users, their argument is that people shouldn’t be taking illegal drugs anyway and that the extra risks act as demand reduction.
PMA has been around longer than I have and wasn’t popular even then due to its risk. I’m not a chemistry expert but I think it is only produced when supplies of precursor chemicals are scarce as the yield may be greater for the input.
in some ways the half arsed UK attitude is worse than the Asian nations, at least they warn people outright that drug use risks death penatly – and in reality most have actually stopped hanging people for small scale posession offences, although it does result in compulsory rehab.
Incidentally you are bait enough to admit to dealing UK/EU free speech laws mean that its unlikely for anyone to get a door kicked in over a forum post, but its really not rocket science for a “fed” who can read English (not necessarily in the UK either) to monitor forums like this and work out roughly where people are based (as even those what do not put in a location often chat about other stuff like food, football, beer, all of which identify areas). People even type in a manner more similar to their speaking accent and/or introduce regional variations in their grammar/spelling.
A person monitoring this forum doesn’t even need to be a serving detective.
They could simply be a civillian who has lost their son or daughter to a MDMA overdose and perhaps understandbly wants to get revenge.
the enemy does not need a roomful of CSI type equipment, just a normal computer or smartphone and no mod/admin would be able to spot them as their activity would look just like any other users. nor do they need to attempt any deep cover type stuff. They would stand out even less than the journos/Forestry/landowners who have all tried monitoring here in the past
There are anonymous reporting portals on every Police service in the EU and other countries which will accept reports in English as well as the native language and work with UK cops to take action.
They know there is significant collateral damage with other young people getting nicked and/or being exposed to poorer quality/dangerous drugs but they feel its worth it to avenge their kids death and like it or not they still have the authorities, politicians and the vast majority of the non drug using population of maybe 20+ EU nations alone behind them, as well as the USA and (currently) most of Asia.
I deliberately did not say the entire 27 as some EU nations still believe in harm reduction over prohbition, and not just NL and PT, but there is no genuine “tolerance zone” anywhere in the EU.
