For the benefit of those in different countries, This is a horse belonging to the UK Queen (as there are of course many queens around the world; who might also own horses). And from the pictures below both of them look a bit strung out (maybe HM got her medications mixed up with the horse feed) – if we must hold on to such old traditions I don’t understand why we don’t just do the same as the other European countries and retire the old monarchs letting the younger ones take over – that way the Queen and her horse can just ride round in circles at Sandringham until one or the other keels over; its big enough so they won’t be a hazard to anyone else’ and they can take all the morphine they wish (in the UK its handed out by the kilo to old granny ladies over a certain age anyway – usually for perfectly valid and humane reasons as they have a variety of genuine medical conditions).
