    Why not protect the chart with transparent acetate film, readily available from any office supplies place? (there’s an idea maybe Cliffy could use for his interview :wink:)

    it would be perfectly safe if the senior officers did not make daft mistakes like that. its not the days of Lord Nelson where we had to fight the French in pitched battles to obtain access to basic office supplies, I’m sure the Navy could order clear acetate sheet by the roll with their resources :you_crazy

    with mod the way it is with cut backs ect, the sailors probbly have to draw there own maps on tracing paper and stop to ask fish for directions.
