Three men are being questioned after shots were fired during an armed raid in a busy shopping centre.
An adult and child were taken to hospital after the incident which happened as Christmas shoppers filled the Centre MK in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, yesterday.
“I heard three or four shots. People were running around screaming,” said shopper Rachel Keeler.
Shop worker Adam Taylor, 19, told the Daily Telegraph the centre was packed with children visiting Santa’s grotto when the shots were fired.
Thames Valley Police believe the robbers fired a total of five shots and used CS gas as they targeted the Leslie Davis Jewellers just before midday.
Witnesses reported seeing two men grab watches before fleeing the scene.
