Illegal rave at MoD site in Powys

Roads between Brecon and Builth Wells quickly became blocked as vehicles started arriving.

Three people were arrested and on Sunday evening people were still gathering at the site.

Police had put a stop to any sound equipment and generators from entering the site.

Officers are warning they will turn away anyone thinking of attending.

They say they are working to minimise disruption to local communities…

i didnt bother going, thought it be shut down sunday morning…hardly worth the effort driving to wales for that, but peps saying on SJ it was still bangin last night… anyone of here go?

we didn want to drive to wales ,so went to the Corby party ,
but couldnt get passed the road blocks .drove round in circles
trying to find a way in. I gave up ! didn want to leave my van on the road.my mate got round them , not sure how yet :bounce_g:

TBH in this day and age you made the best move – not so much because of the cops but there are loads of little scrotes what prey on raves now to rob stuff out of vehicles and the cars parked away from the site are sitting ducks for this :hopeless:

see it happen a few times!!

my gf got her car smashed up, leaving it in a remote lane in wales after the police set up road block etc. not sure, could have been the farmer!!!

thought the corby party might of been shut down, the direction s were taken off the line, was gonna go

most farmers know better than to do this as there’s no proof the car was there for the rave (could just be a lost tourist) ; plus its owners might just target the farm at a later date!

often its the younger locals what are responsible – unlike my own youth rave isn’t the dominant youth culture, a lot of townies think ravers are junkie scum, many see something like this as a “invasion” of their territory and realise they can trash cars with relative impunity, its hardly as if the ravers can complain to the cops!

plus a lot of muppets do seem to stalk the rave crews looking for opportunities to fight and thieve.. of course you got them at legal events too but the bouncers are slightly better at getting rid of them…

Didn’t work for shit. we just built up our convoy and raced through, they eventually gave up and let people in.

oi oi! phat phat party!

shame the 1st site was god awfull! and the meeting poing wasnt that well thought out, however 2nd site was perfect!

we packed up about 8.30am yesterday and there were still 2 rigs avin it!

drove off site with no hassle!

didnt prepare for a 2 dayer so didnt bring a sleeping bag and it was fooking freezong in the van sunday night! doh!

very shakey in work today! its gonna be a lo9ng one! got a mega tan aswell!

was nice meeting some people off yer!

hope everyone got off and out safely!

thats all bollox mate, was a fat weekend! the first site was a disaster! and the meeting point was shite asewell but there were too many people 2nd site was megaand it carried on till yesterday!

propberbly some stragglers still there now! har!

ohh savage! hope he made it back ok! saw lots of people walking down the track yesterday on our way out thumbing for .lifts! savage would not like to be in that situation!
