BBC News – Clean-up begins as illegal rave ends in Pembrokeshire
:hopeless:
Bloody seagulls, thats who i blame.
“But what were were able to do, through using our helicopter, was to identify who we believe were the main instigators and organisers on the site and as they’ve left we’ve arrested them.”
thats what the helicopter was for then

there was a shit load of undercover sheep too mate, edging closer all the time, people told me I was being paranoid but I know what I saw!
was a wickid party, top location great rigs loads of party mates and friendly people, more like that! Shame about rigs at the end of it, think a couple that left earlier were OK I think the OB had just had enough by Monday evening… The OB we saw on way in and out were fine just directed us and said have a good one! Got pulled about 20 miles away on the way home, just said have you been to the tek got any drugs left etc, we were like nah we just drink n he said alright off you go then! Gonna be a while before another one that good I reckon.

:laugh_at:
the sheep are just ravers, they like hardstyle. When I went to a similar tek a few years back they were all looking over the biggest hardstyle rig!

ennit them birds have no shame,
shame it wasnt cleared up properly, if it was then thered be nothing for the media and old bill to complain about, standard for uk parties tho.
just gotta get rid of the 6 bags in my van now festering away, our non recyelin is only collected every fortnight and i aint sortin thru it no way.
do you think police were targetting certain vehicles from their footage then?? a local rig got siezed after leaving quite early yet another one got away after leaving proper late?-+
they must have. they’ve only got so many tow trucks and space in the property store so would have used them to target certain folk. bear in mind the digital info from the heli can be transmitted to a central unit within seconds these days, as well as looking up reg plates and sending data to the units on the ground, its like a secure form of mobile broadband.
i’ve been told by former ravers who joined the OB a few years back that the serious/organised crime units are increasingly used to check up on illegal raves due to the level of drug dealing associated with them (this also ties in with cops’ recent press releases and the ranks of the cops tasked to investigate raves)
GL – do you think they were more bias to confiscating rigs that police have evidence of funding via sales of drugs?

yep.
they don’t need to do loads of detective work either, they can go on “soft evidence” such as what people say on here and particularly facebook and bebo as cops can get into the private areas more easily, especially bebo as there are many people <18 years old and they can claim its child protection work.
too many younger folk (not sensible people like yourself and your friends) do stupid things like brag about how they bought £1000 of tunes when they don’t even have a job., and how they have loads of kit they can replace after it gets confiscated. And others seem to have “interesting” “friends” who are older than me, big scarely looking dudes and not their dads or uncles either. Not rocket science to work out where the cash comes from, especially in a recession when its hard for young people to get jobs..
BTW all four Welsh constabularies or heddlu are giving a “EA style” warning against further raves..

they had the old helicopter come over twice and a spotter plane when I was there.
planespotters around EGFE (Haverford West ) report this
Haverfordwest Airport Movements:
Police12 G-DPPF A109 heading East to Pembrey after responding to the illegal rave at Dale, 1135, heading back to Dale at 1311, left the area 1349

the last one is of course Dyfed Powys Helicopter (Police12 is the VHF radio call sign)
although “G-GMKD” is a Robin 400 usually kept at nearby Cardiff, its red black and white and the call-letters are very obvious, wouldn’t have thought its ID would be unclear with a “?”
perhaps it was “G-GMPB“??? this is silver fuselage with black call letters and is a specialist fixed wing surveillance aircraft used by GMP.. (BN Defender 4000) – if you didn’t have good bins and was at a high flight level it would be easy to misidentify the last two letters..
heres a photo of it in flight. Not the easiest thing to get a clear ID on (well it is a surveillance aircraft after all!)
even if it was the Robin (and it would be strange for 4 experienced spotters to misidentify a common aircraft) it could still have camera kit, and all these small aircraft usually have the same GPS equipment the coppers have..
Uk Teck was fucking mental!! you could even say it was sid-tastic :p

It certainly a similar if not the the same type of aircraft. All that information has given me a confusion headache lol
