otherwise come to our monthly techno night – smash techno which sinner69 linked to (thanks for that!) – next one is 25 may… https://www.facebook.com/groups/smashtechno/
both those parties are in clubs..
for good clubnights/private parties keep an eye on this website http://www.accessallareas.org/main.html
the other types of parties, the more underground ones you describe, are in london, just talk to the right people and you’ll find them..but be careful about the “underground” parties you see advertised on facebook – they can be very very good or very very bad!!

After a brief hiatus over Christmas and the New Year we’re back to beat away those January blues with our first party of 2014. As standard, expect an early AFTERNOON start, great atmosphere and three of Project London Radio’s top flight music selectors putting you through your paces with a world class selection of underground House & Techno music alongside friends Laurence Reed and Wetdog House. There are also deals galore to be had with bottles of beer, pints and spirits being ridiculously cheap. The Castle is the perfect destination for the deepest, latest and strangest of evenings out.
When we at SOCIALISE visited The Castle we had the sort of rollercoaster London party night you just can’t plan for, It’s the kind of bar everyone wishes they could call their local and it is completely random; you could find yourself drinking gin from a shoe while waving your body around to some seriously heads down, no nonsense underground house music, it’s that kind of place. That isn’t to say you can’t have a decent conversation if that is what you fancy at 3am as there are some comfy old sofas around which are good for a bit of a chinwag and we’ve have had our share of deep and not-so-meaningful waffles on the sofas, it’s a bar where the decor is warm and friendly with lots of rough wood and comfy chairs and plenty of people, some of whom almost looked like they were kicking back in their living room while the soap dodgers and ghetto fabulous punters rub shoulders, one girl even looked like she was being eaten alive by a sofa, it’s a great mix of clientele, consisting of weird and wonderful characters socialising in a truly harmonious melange of revelry. You know the score, drinks flowing, meetings with old friends you didn’t expect, improvised dancefloors in the queue for the bogs, crowds spilling out onto the street with taxis beeping, all the while people just maintaining that SOCIALISE attitude. Suffice to say, we liked the mood in the Castle and that’s why we want to do our next party there. We think The Castle is at its best just before dawn, a real and tumbling old boozer for people who need people, an oasis for those who are always looking for just a little bit more. . . Sounds like a proper bit of us doesn’t it?
SOCIALISE began life as a small gathering of friends throwing irregular one-off parties at a number of intimate London based venues and we continue to operate under this ethos to this current day. Appealing to a small sociable crowd these parties were simply an excuse for like-minded individuals to gather and share in a fondness for partying and all things house related. It’s now several years later and SOCIALISE is still hijacking the city’s radio waves with our weekly Saturday afternoon radio show, putting on parties with our friends and making a racket with our no nonsense take on deep, dubby stripped-down underground house music. It’s totally underground and word of mouth, just the way it should be.
Be social.
