Irony intended. Just to clarify. 🙂 Yes i probably should call the police ‘the scum’ but in my humble opinion although many may have altruistic intentions, a number, which i wouldn’t guess at as small are just bullies who do not look at the actual social implications of their (and their groups, the police’s) actions. I have a larger distaste for the laws but a decided dislike for those who uphold laws (in cases with force) which make no sense.

went to a realy nice pary in goodwood once b4 only small with one system there but was niceee .. massive bonfire was nice for when it got a bit nippy later on in the night … :love:

I’m reasonably new here, been lurking a bit before, but this thread has me in stitches how many people just haven’t read it :crazy:

Anyway, just a heads up I’m in this sort of area (alternate between Sheffield/Doncaster and near Cambridge), so if anyone from about wants to pm me and have a chat (or, indeed, if someone wants to invite me to a party completely contrary to the rest of this thread, I wouldn’t say no:wink:)
or anything, then feel free to hit me up!

Also I know the centre of Cambridge reasonably…so if you are strapped for info I may be able to help. (NOT info on parties, before I get spammed ridiculously. I don’t really have any local anyway.)

one near us where some stupid twat parrently gave a horse an e – top use of your hard earned , muppett :you_crazy poor thing died – mdma probs isnt good for horseys and now of corse the owner who probabally a freemason and buggers the local chief of police on the side, is raising hell and demanding they do something bout parties in his area.

which ever fukwit did that didnt think through the impplications of his actions for all of us.

I notice you’re about the same age as me (well 2 years younger), did you start raving in your teens in the 90s?

I did – and whilst ravers have been slightly better behaved at raves “back in the day” with regard to not trashing/vandalising venues as much, there was a lot of things I remember happening I’m not exactly proud of today – there was a recession then and drugs were expensive, leading to a culture of surviving by theft (shoplifting and even house burglary) as well as people moving very quick from pills to smack and crack (ketamine curiously wasn’t as popular till the late 90s)

the wider effects of this and the impact on normal people (particularly families of addicts) have not been forgotten nor forgiven in some areas, particularly by middle aged people now in positions of power..
