Thanks Ellie….. I know that a President with Socialist ideas obviously gets a high approval in other countries……:crazy: I for one am extremely sad for the U.S.

I don’t see where any other President had his own private police force – I’m not talking about the Secret Service).

and im in the middle of my comp poss having a virus, peeps msging me, probs all over the place…….

as far as unbiased, my husband likes fox news….most of the media is biased to the left nowdays…cnn, msnbc……

lots of business leaders, celebrities etc worldwide have their own “private armies” of varying strengths and capabilities, they are simply called “minders” or “close protection” and part of a wider private security industry.

If any leader democratically elected by the will of the people, feels that he cannot trust his own federal security agencies such as the Secret Service then its more a sad indictment on that countries government and society as a whole.

EXCUSE ME?????? What did you just call me?????? I already STATED that it is NOT because of his color!!!! OMG……WHY does everyone insist thats automatically the reason????? I and many others in my state voted for McCain…..he is in tune with what God wants (mostly). It is NOT the fact that he is a straight white male!!!!!! OMG….

And sadly yes, the media in this country IS VERY biased to the left……arts/entertainment……

I voted for the man who is against abortion,against gay marriage, and who would protect our country!

I’ve got a few names in my head right now. But it’s getting beyond a joke, and it’s obvious that there is no getting through to you. It always amazes me how people who wish me to be open minded enough to discuss their beliefs never shift on there’s. I suppose that’s the beauty of brainwashing!

Did you know that 90% of the media in your country is owned by SIX companies?

Who owns CNN? or MSNBC? ABC? : LA IMC

If you want to debate this, please let’s not do it on here….maybe the chat room or an IM (my Yahoo is not working rt now) if you were in the US I’d say call me.

As for why McCain lost…..only God knows. I did my best, the Reps. lost….I’ll get over it.

I don’t understand why you want to debate in private. This is an open forum, where we expect people to speak their minds. I appauld you for standing up to your beliefs, but you did come on here asking for a challenge!

I’d say that Obama won because he was the right person for the job. If there is a god (and just FYI I’n not convinced either way) then he probably realised that letting the Rupublicans stay in power was condemming this planet to ecological collapse.

I’m not saying that’s still not going to happen, but at least there’s a chance that something will change now!

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree amyberthelet. The frustration you’re feeling now is exactly the same as what I’m feeling. We both know we’re right, and can’t understand why the other can’t see it.
