well from threads on here i’m pretty sure you are sexually active, and im pretty sure youre not married/trying to make babies.

so do you just consider yourself a sinner?

WE’RE ALL SINNERS SISTER! PRAY FOR YOUR IMMORTAL SOUL BEFORE YOU ARE CAST INTO THE FIERY PITS OF HELL!

As far as I know about the campaigns:

McCain wanted the “war” in Iraq to continue. That pissed off too many people, me thinks.
And he had Palin as his running mate which wasn’t the best of ideas.

Obama is inexperienced so he may not make the best president, but then perhaps this fault will turn out to be a strength?
I’ve gotten the feeling that he’s also gained a lot of votes because he is black and thus it’s something new and completely different which is what many Americans seem to want at the moment what with all the shit they’re getting recently; politically, culturally and socially.

I wonder if “fiery” was a mistranslation and it’s actually “furry”

Mostly. However, the people I sleep with, I am usually always in a relationship with and care about them a lot/or love them. So in that respects, it’s not as much of a sin as if it was with somebody I have only just met. The odd times I have had a one night stand, the next time I go to church, I go to confession and confess my sin. (Most people I know think that’s stupid. You can think what you want.)

Although, we are all sinners, really. None of us are perfect. The more we try to become perfect, the less perfect we become. Even those that confess their sins and are absolved by God are not perfect because they sin again and again throughout their lifetime.

So to answer your question; Yes. I am a sinner. But so is everyone else. And as long as you are truly sorry, no matter what you have done, you will be forgiven.

Thanks for your reply – i sha’nt get into a big debate with you because you havent asked for one! :group_hug

so is what you’re saying that as long as you feel guilt, that’s a good thing?

No, I’m not saying that. I’m saying that if you do sin, as long as you are truly sorry, you will be forgiven. I’m not saying “Oh, go out and sin ’cause as long as you feel guilt, it’s okay” …

I haven’t done any thing immoral or wrong in my life but i don’t belive in god …. if i die and god exists .. where do i stand in your eyes amy?

come on – now your nit picking – exactly how many people do you think are in a gay marriage without having gay sex??

so god isnt condemning homosexuals – as long as they deny all the natural urges he gave to them??

So the bible condemns sex for fun? Regardless of If they are married? Then in this case straight marriage is the same as gay marriage. By accepting gay marriage, you’re not necessarily giving them the option to have sex, the same with straights. Its upto them afterwards to decide to “sin”.

So with this in mind Its not a good argument to disallow gay marriage. I know those aren’t your views Ellie, you were just trying to keep a fair argument, but It is a fair argument. This is assuming Its a sin to have sex in any situation unless to deliberately try and make babies.

Also, what’s the correct term for someone who doesn’t believe in the God/s told to us, but Is open minded to the fact their could (Or still not) be one? Atheist Isn’t a good label for me.
