TBH most pets belonging to owners able to spend $150 on this device are unlikely to be starving (they are usually only used when the animals are already overweight and the vet has advised the owners to reduce their food intake) – although I think its a greater animal welfare issue that people lock their pets up and leave them alone in the first place (and is probably why they get into the habit of overeating as a substitute for company/exercise).
I wonder if any cats/dogs worked out how to pop the lock on the feeder with their paws? (I’ve seen a few youtube videos of other feeders being hacked by the animals themselves!) :laugh_at:
Smart devices are the rage but they don’t work great sometimes. Might just be easier to feed Fido on your own.
