I know lots of people (myself included) have asked at one point or another “what the hell is a file with .xyz extension, and what do you do with it”
Having done it again today, I thought I’d post the link to the place I go to find out:

Almost 23,000 file extensions, so if you can’t find a file definition there you can probably safely assume that the file you are seeing is an hallucination, and will go away if you get some sleep…:biggreen:
I think it says a lot about computer programmers that there are 4 files that use the extension .ERM, and one that uses .WTF…:you_crazy
I’m fascinated to know why Apple users get the file extension .BIZZARRELOVETRIANGLE . Apparently something to do with Golden Orchard, but there is no info beyond that.
Can anyone shed any light??? :confused::confused::confused:
