Weirdest thing… re-upped, after overamping the night before.
Funniest thing…ran away-in the night, after a knock down drag out with my honey, I speed walked down the road, all the way to the edge of town. We lived in the dead center of this little town. I walked and walked and I do mean fast walked; I was never going home! Ef him! Ef this life! I closed in on the railroad tracks, and “realized” I was going to need a weapon. What’s the first thing one must do in the wild? Protect themselves! I saw this HUGE screw bolt thingamy, and picked it up. Now I had to conceal it. It was as long as my arm from my elbow to wrist. LOL
Then I thought, if I’m going to wander down the railroad tracks between towns, begging for food, sleeping out in the country at night, I’ll need a couple things. How this had become my plan so readily, I don’t know. (And don’t look at my username for answers, either. ha)
I will need a small dog. Hey! I just happened to have one of those.
I will need a container to carry water. Ok, I’ll grab one from the kitchen.
And I will need a hobo bag to put on a stick and carry on my shoulder. Well, I just happen to be a pretty good seamstress.
So obviously the thing to do is to go home and get those….HEY.
I HAVE A TRUCK.
A minutes later I was home again, and the honey buns didn’t even know I’d been gone. Dangit. What good is running away if no one’s going to notice?!
Oh yeah, and I was like 35years old, too. Childish much?!
PS In the morning he saw the screw bolt weapon and said, wow, what a weapon, where did this come from?!
For some reason I felt a level of satisfaction!
