yes I am just about old enough to remember stuff like this – although it all got forgotten about in the UK and USA and the “happy go lucky” mediterranean nations (even more stupid given their weather) in the 1980s – even “alternative” types abandoned the green movement / thinking in the 1990s as drugs and technology distracted them..
Not so much in the Scandinavian and Teutonic nations thankfully….
