surrey police sent seven police vans to shut down a 21st birthday (that was held with the agreement of the land-owner), at a time when mr o’conner (head of surrey police) is complaining about the lack of funds available to surrey police. a number of other parties have been shut down recently, as part of a new hardline approach to free partys. do you have any views you would like to share with him on this?

you can also write to request a copy of the video made by police at the event, if you were in attendance.

Just got a reply from my letter today… the police are refusing to say wether they have a video of the night or not (which i’m pretty certain goes against freedom of information legislation. Tossers. Going to talk to the police complaints commision.
