Religion in itself does not incite violence, rather the incorrect interpretation of religious teachings by individuals or groups can lead to violence.
Christianity during the crusades and muslim extremists are just 2 examples of religious teachings being interprated (or religion being used as a smoke-screen for peoples hatred and political agenders) in such a way that people are drawn to violent actions.
but i kinda think that violence is just human nature, isn’t it?

Yeah exactly. Its just people use religion as a reason for committing violence. Take the crusades for example, soldiers were told to free the holy land because it was ‘gods will’ or something thereabouts.
Now those in charge, the king/priests etc were either lying and using religion to motivate people into joining (therefore had other more sinister agendas) OR they had interpretated christianities writings (the bible) wrongly and passed false teachings onto thousands of soldiers who gave their lives.
Either way religion has been used.
i think violence is over rated. im civilized, i never provoke a fight but when im in it, i love it. i think thats all there should be to it and i shake hands with the dude that i just busted up!
what if he puts a blade in gut, or are you mistaking violence for boxing

Thi9s is a very good point, and part of the reason I learn martial arts. Alltho the likely hood that I’m going to get into a fight isn’t very high (I controll me self most of hte time). There’s allways the chance of some one else starting one, and it’s allways best to be prepared imo.
I think so !!
The religion is the beginning of wars !
After, of course i think that the religions don’t do all violence
But a big part !!
violence is part of being human, if were not killing ourself’s, then were killing something.
Also, after 2000 years of standardized religion, why haven’t more people realised it DOESN’T WORK
