I’m impressed you managed to get let in in the first place as apparently its one of the hardest countries to clear immigration but I thought (even though its not quite EU) it was against human rights to deny a migrant voting unless you are actually classed as a refugee?) My parents were both from Malaysia but could always vote in elections as soon as their permanent residence was approved.

Maybe you have to start listening to Schlager-Musik (like on the TV-show Musikantenstädl) and wearing Lederhosen to convince them you are a “Real European”; I did wonder is dressing up as a Bear might work but you might only just get darted with Ketamine and dumped out in the mountains in Austria.

be glad you are the other side of the mountains from NL; the Dutch folk already play stuff exactly like that on the pirate radio stations every weekend (and probably more so as its carnival season).
