I whant to go Camping.

A freind wishes to take his decks,

Another, his speakers, and we have a

generator between us.

Do we need to aply for a TENs or a PEL ?

if it genuinely only is a camping trip and there are only a handful of you in a remote area and you are sensible about noise levels, cops are unlikely to bother you – they only get involved when the locals complain.

If however you do want to hold an actual outdoor party with more than 20 or so people then you may need a TENS.

The level of enforcement also varies depending where you are in the country…

cheers for your opinioun and advice, im sure that if Police did turn up, then we could explain to them what we were doing and when we were planing to leave.

We will, as we always do, when we go camping, leave the place tidy and the natraul suroundings unspoilt.

seriously though, if you have permission to be on the space, can’t be heard by others and aren’t making excessive noise then no one is liable to bother you, its not illegal to go camping on your own and listen to music…

what would this mean in legal terms, if people started to walk in towards me together, whilst playing out techno, by my self?

Not that i care particularlie, cos i spose that if i need to express my self in that way, i will (im not hurting any one) , i just wonderd what the legal consequencies might be?

What i wanna know is what if 600 people suddenly rushed at me and each gave me £6 , when all i’m doing is minding my own business and playing music! :groucho:

as soon as the number of people or the noise reached a level where someone who didn’t agree with all of you doing this decides to call 999, the authorities can try to bust you for having an illegal gathering.

it all depends on how the the locals see it really….
