what you say is true but I live in this country and some businesses really don’t give a shit especially if they are making money from other customer segments. Overt fraud isn’t that common in the UK and our Police do investigate it – but there are loads of smaller businesses take on more than they can handle and ignore problem transactions. I have this all the time whe we buy computer stuff for work. Big businesses still make mistakes but at least they apologise and eventually deliver the goods. Even companies what are OK can slip in their service if the owners get bored of runnign the business..
