Than you might as well call all herbal teas that are caffeinated, drugs. And sodas, chocolate, maybe coffee. Oh and nutmeg too? Alcohol is for sure a drug but people don’t seem to refer to it as so
They are all drugs yes.. Quite obviously.
in the UK the authorities who monitor drug use (a combination of the Police, Health Authority and local Council) are called Drug and Alcohol Action Teams and the only reason they make the distinction is because of legal status. Alcohol is a drug but less controlled than other controlled drugs (i.e a prescription for it is not required).
In my town they have already restricted the sale of cheap beer and cider over a certain strength, its made the national (and international) news.
anything is mentally addictive idiot, physically its not now go out to the pub and destroy yourself the way the government want you to
To be honest its all down to personal opinion cannabis is a plant that naturally occurs on this planet, now nothing in that sounds like drug description to me.

The entire cannabis plant is not a drug it’s a plant, BUT it’s contains a drug called THC (amongst others).

There are actually GM breeds where the THC content is so low the plant has no use as a drug crop, they claim it was created for paper production but the conspiracy theorists recon it was made by the CIA to bankrupt druglords as the very low THC version grows much faster……….. just imagine the CIA sewing fields of green from black choppers lol
There was a plantation of hemp just off the M25 that we raided years ago, it was all pollinated though and full of seeds. Apparently it was for “government tests”, but that was just hear say.
Low THC GM cannabis actually has a lot of potential medical use as an anti psychotic. THC is a psychotic by definition, but CBD another chemical that the plant produces is an anti-psychotic. The plant can only produce a total amount of both chemicals, so high THC content skunk will have little CBD in it, and vice versa. Hence why so many people can get psychotic/paranoid on super strong skunk, but less so on weaker varieties of cannabis even if they smoke more of it.

It’s more likely that governments grow cannabis for medical research into area’s like this then to fuck up drug dealers, as they have many other ways of doing this that don’t involve selling shit skunk that no one would buy anyway. I’m pretty sure they would it locked down though and not just growing in a field with relatively easy access.

I bet they tested it through the aircon units of local councils……. thats why they cant remember the answer to any questions and dont get any work done

hmm – this company used to operate from Essex (with the full blessing of Defra and the Home Office) but got into a pickle because folk kept robbing their crops, and they had to then explain to Defra what had happened to it as even the low THC stuff had to be accounted for. They have moved up closer to my way and tightened up their security procedures. The hemp itself is used for a large variety of things including the padding stuff inside a car door and other parts of a vehicle, I think it can replace less pleasant substances like fibreglass and asbestos for many applications.

Ops :s
(I was about 16 when this happened iirc, I haven’t smoked ganja in over ten years)
Just sayin’ but weed is a drug, the same way caffeine or alcohol is a drug… who defined the word drug anyway, cos pretty sure its just its chemical properties that define something as being different to other things like say a piece of grass and just because its chemical form differs from that of other things confuses me as to why a drug is defined as a drug as the only difference is that of its chemical properties… well thats how i think of it anyways, i’m probably wrong somewhere but i haven’t quite figured it out yet…
im giving weed a miss, its a hindrence and im a lot happier and fresher in the morning. but then i am 44.

I quit smoking skunk about 11-12 years ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
