Eugh, I hate speed… >_< dirty drug.
Why do you think this- even bombed you reck its ‘dirty’?- I never got this school of thought that speed was ‘dirtier’ then other drugs.
I must admit I am not a fan of speed/base. It’s the smell and taste what puts me off, makes me gag just thinking about it. :yakk:

and the comedown for the effects it gives…. so not worth it
some people are more sensitive than others, but if you do fuckloads in one go rather than just small bombs it will rinse you. and yes it does taste fucking rank (due to the amine in amfetamine being derived from ammonia) – put it in a rizla or other capsule!
I admit i did a fair bit of this when i was much younger – mainly at around 15. I dunno why i started really. Obviously with clubs- but its use accidently spilled out into almost daily use for quite a few months- always orally in a rizla.
At the time i found it a good laugh, bizarre as the last time i tried it on it’s own a few years ago i found it a bit hard work- a bit harsh perhaps. I think i am just too old now to enjoy this drug in isolation.

+1 😉
I used to do a fair bit, go on epic bike rides at the weekend as well as parties (60+ miles) and then eat like a half-starved siamese tomcat when the stuff wore off – it didn’t actually do me that much damage. The only drawback I found is when I calmed down I still liked eating and now I have to watch my weight and do more exercise..
absolutely luved it. Bang at it for years, still think of it now, but i prefared to dig it and the shit thats around now wont do.
it is quite psychologically addictive and with prolonged use and abuse of sleeping patterns, can make some people dive off the deep end. (i once spent 4 hours hiding in a grave yard in the middle of the night, convinced that the police were crouched down under a wall waiting for me)
on the other hand my “speed years” were some the funniest, most intense and least boring years of my life.

its actually the lack of sleep what does you in. I did also have the “bad” habit of leaving a radio scanner on by the head of my bed – well there were reasons for this – but quite often I’d fall asleep with the thing still on (it had a timer so it would switch off and not run down the batteries) and unsurprisingly my dreams would unsurprisingly resemble an episode of a ITV crime drama :laugh_at:

the bill!
lol general been there,
i had 2 get rid in the end. if anything looked out of place in the street, or it just felt on top that day i would be forever telling people 2 stfu coz i thought i had just heard my address mentioned. it got beyond a joke n the missus insisted it had 2 go, or else!
ironically mine made me less paranoid as I learned how sketchy the cops actually were and how many mistakes they made! Also it had a signal strength meter and offset function, so you could switch to the TX frequency of the mobile to repeater. If you could actually pick up the mobile units signal (which was of course weaker) you could actually guess roughly how near the cops were 😉
if there was a big op on they’d switch talkthrough off and use mobile phones which also was a giveaway….
In hindsight though I understand why the Home Office was so determined to make Airwave work! (the govt even sacrificed at least 3 coppers – they actually went down with cancer as the first sets had too much radiation! :crazy_diz)
personally i found it the best way really,
the rush was magic
no waiting around for it to come on
no queesiness or stomach cramps
its quicker to burn though ur metabolism, depending how much u had done
done correctly it is also very clean, with new works n swabs (in other words hygene)
im less sure id do it that way now though, due to the sheer amount of cowboys who haven’t got a clue and no concience, and the shit they are willing to cut it with
