urm I have used speed every now and then, but I have been put off it as one of my friends does it far to much, after she has been on week long binges I wont see her as it really makes me worry… I always end up thinking she might have lost the plot, its a shame as when she manages to knock it on the head for a short while she completely changes,.
We all notice how its ruining her but she will not listen…. :hopeless:
I did ONCE..usually snorted or stirred into my coffee…..my body just thought it was asthma medicine and after cleaning the kitchen I went to sleep!:laugh_at:
I never injected but I did go pretty fuckin insane on it.
Totally running down streets screaming about people following me playing totally cheesey ducth gabber. Thinking that every street sound was part of the tune until I binned a load of money and drugs and went to stay at my mums for a few months to get my head back.
Now I am totally sane 😉
I’m already injecting daily. i dont even do it for th buzz anymore, i just do it to feel normal.
I’ve been a heavy user for a while now ( bout 2 year, stopped for 4 months fell pregnant then miscarried, which made it worse) but always sed i wud never inject, then a mate said the buzz from injecting is emense. so i thought well I’ll try it…..just once.
He was right th buzz was amazing but I’ve now been injecting every day for 3 weeks.
Its not just the buzz i love its the actual injecting, seeing th blood swirl up into th siringe. (I’m an ex self harmer so that may explain this).
I dont suffer parinoia or find i cant function because of it but my need for it is becomin concerning. Plus that abcess thing freaked me a bit.
Anyway keep letting me know ur experiences of speed people
xox
Yea in my home town theres speed dealer, pill dealers, coke dealers, ect, not many people do everything xox
I actually had a lot of respect from the local speed dealers (particularly being a reliable cash customer) I could ride my £400 British made touring bike into their squat, leave it there and no one would dare touch it…
it was a bit of a paranoid buzz as comedowns/mood swings aside, I was buying “middle level dealer” amounts – had I been caught I would probably have got at least a Court appearance (and been named and shamed) if ont jail
At one point I was definitely being watched by “Echo Tango” (the CCTV ops in the city I then lived in) who were curious about why an Asian chap wearing a shirt and tie tended to spend so much time chatting with squatters/big issue sellers (many of whom were friends of mine) on his lunch breaks, I suspect that my distinctive bike (few people my age group ride tourers or hybrids) and the routes I took attracted their attention.
The squat though was classic, far from being a filthy den with needles everywhere it was proper spotless, you could eat your tea off the floor! The Welsh girl I mentioned in a earlier post would go on big cleaning binges and force anyone else present to help her..
On one ket/speed binge I woke up in the middle of the night thinking ghosts were everywhere, and even tried to get the cat to look for them with me (he gave me a sort of “nah mate, you’ve proper lost it this time” look and went back to sleep, so I had to do all the searching myself).
If the cat woke me up on a comedown I’d just meow back at it (got quite good at doing a Siamese cat impression), he’d either go and wake up my mum or sister and get fed that way, or go to sleep at the foot of my bed until I woke up. Started regularly meowing at cats around that time (2002), and still do this today, even when sober.

How come you used so much speed and things mate? if thats not too much of a personal question
Eugh, I hate speed… >_< dirty drug.
i could do with some now. falling asleep at your desk, not such a good look when you manager practically sits opposite you… :crazy_dizzy
I’m assuming it was for the same reasons as me….not enough hours in the day.
was helping out with squats and several raves as well as a holding down responsible job in IT/Finance in the Civil Service…. needed to stay awake and motivated.
These days modafinil is actually far cleaner and less damaging, but sometimes hard to get due to the media creating a scare and the feds/HMRC getting involved..

Ah i see, i can see how speed could be an aid to such a thing.
speed kept this country going through World War II and the first part of the Cold War…. (and with two Tory prime ministers being heavy users!)
even Commander Bond wasnt adverse to a touch of the old amphet
unsurprising as it was issued to military personnel until the 1950s/60s, and even available OTC in various forms, until the side effects started to become apparent..
the MOD recently experimented with modafinil to keep the troops going but decided not to use it in the end… Pentagon forces do or did use amfetamine, but it resulted in the USAF firing on some Canadian units as they thought they were Afghan separatists….
