Maggots are made mostly of what they happen to be eating at the time anyway, no harm there really.

Has anyone ever had a problem with them regarding deliveries to the UK or stuff being seized by customs? Anyway just wondering before i try to buy…

The best way to dry them is to make sure you seperate everyone and lay them out on a newspaper. I lost about 600 once because I didn’t seperate them:cry: .

any sign of blackness, or if the gills underneath are breaking up / lost

just leave them where you found em… they’ll be a little family of fresh ones in the morning :weee:

When out picking i always give the caps a flick before picking them to disperse the spores a bit, that way they will grow again.

Has anyone had a luck growing liberty caps?

Mixing mushrooms with anything, especially alcohol is a really bad idea, a recipe for a bad trip, mushrooms aren’t toys.

I find for best results, mushrooms should be taken fresh, dried or brewed after not eating anything for a day or so and some mental preparation in the form of meditation.
If doing them in a strange setting such as a festival or party then garnish them with a little mdma.

I hope the weather improves a bit before autumn because mushrooms dont like dry conditions very much, and if it stays this dry there wont be many shrooms.

garnish with some mdma .:weee: u knows it.

Last time in Amsterdam started chopping them up and putting them in yoghurt because they were so big from the shops……slides down a treat, far better than mushie tea even with OXO!!! but only really works with fresh mushrooms

Yeah man – def gonna be doing that from now on and telling everyone I know to do the same – extend the season of the shroom innit!

Have tried a couple of mushroom kits from shops but have all succumbed to other types of mould on the agar.It is really hard to keep them sterile enough to grow.
Also I have found the mushroom season to be later and later used to be September thru to October but now October thru to November,anybody else the same or is it just down in the South?

i spent nearly every weekend for a month walking round the grounds of Reading uni looking for shrooms last year.
i think this year i’ll just buy some acid and save the bother.
