shame really the uni grounds are so big you would have thought some would have survived somewhere.

might be a better plan. IIRC cops also tend to do random stop checks around East Reading every so often so the risk is the same anyway (TVP == arrest first, argue about legalities later…)

i’m alright with random checks anyway as they don’t really seem to pull cars over anymore unless you’ve got a body kit or something and the uni is to far for me to walk.

hey , well i thought it might be cool if we all shared the places we have found magic mushrooms… now i would add some but ive never found any on my looking around…. anyone know anywhere in hertfordshire?

i never tell anyone where i found my shrooms as you can garuntee it’ll get over harvested and spoilt for next year(s)

hmm if people harvest it correctly it wont mess it up for the next years.

TIP: ALWAYS CUT THE STEMS DONT PULL UP THE ROOTS AS THIS CAN DAMAGE ROOT NETWORKS AND PREVENT FURTHER GROWTH.

from growing shrooms i would disagree

if you twsit the shroom out from it’s base, you will get a second flush, if you break the stem, the remaining part rots and damages the root system

I always believed that if you flick them and then pick them the spores are spread. They might not grow the next year but they have good years and bad years, The main enemy Is overpicking cos it alerts the farmers who spread fungicide (bastards)

I know where there grow in Bucks, unfortunately it is in the playing field of one of the local High Schools for Girls, and although I have managed to sneak back in once, I think I will shit myself if I get caught snooping. Any advice?

Go there with a young lady in her late teens or twenties – of the right agegroup to still have teenage friends.

If challenged, she says one of her mates attends the school and she lost something out of her bag on the field and rang the girl you were with as you were “both in the area”. So the girl is searching for this “mislaid item”, and you are only there for protection as she didn’t want to go into a dark field on her own.

TBH I reckon if the girls at that school are anything like most of the girls I know at least some of them would have harvested the shrooms anyway for their own consumption ….

BTW to all of you; if you don’t the places overpicked or fungicide put down, please try not to put easily identifiable locations on the forum…

If you live in Edinburgh, a good place is heading out of the city towards the dis-used MOD base (cannae remember the name, but that’ll make it an adventure for you)…

Just before the base, there are a set of pylons run across the road (big uns – the 50-100KV kind). If you follow those into the field on the left (looking up road heading out of town), you will find loads (or at least you used to – haven’t been there since 1995).

Up around Dollar in Fife is fairly good too (lurk across the fields and off the beaten track – remember to be respectful and close gates, don’t noise up cattle etc, and beware of bulls/rams) – you’ll find some for sure, cos they’re fairly rampant up there:weee::weee::weee:

Never did find any in Oxfordshire when I lived there – the council had a fit with mycelia stripping in the late 80’s – may have recovered by now tho’…:wink:

me name iz chris & i live in ferndown//dorset my m8 hav been goin pikin down rivers but i went down dis cow fild iz a bit like a swamp & found about 40 & ait dem up but i went down there 2 day & found about 6 but cant find anymor eif u no a place in dorset which iz swarming with them let uz no cuze i heard of a place 1s near alice & wonderland near hearn airport but thers loads of filds down there & i need direction cuse thers spose 2 be thousands down thers kk kk chers
