The immune system is used to tackle harmful things like bacteria and viruses trying to get into the body (drugs can be seen as poison by the body). what i believe is happening is basically your body is releasing anti-bodys which when mixed with the one of the chemicals in the drugs send signals to the brain telling it to release strong inflammatory chemicals which in your case effect the cheeks and beneath the eyes.

the funny thing is, that i especially get this with lower doses
and it’s not always
sometimes the opposite happens and my cheeks sink in, like on E
maybe it all depends on the dose
would it be possible, that if i ingest lower doses, my body tries to fight it, and i thus get “allergic” reactions, and if i take higher doses, the psilocybine overcomes my immune system and my body is “overrolled” by the “poison” and does therefore not react in this way?
