Grassy hillsides, golf courses, meadows. They grow in abundance all over the UK between Mid-July and January, mid-Sept to late-Nov is usually better.
When you do find some ALWAYS cut them of at the base of the stem. NEVER just pull them out of the ground as this does terrible damage to the root system and will damage or even kill the plant.
Once picked, if you wish to store them, dry them out on a smooth, non absorbant, flat material (kitchen table, flat pain of glass). Lie then all down so they are not touching each other. In a heated home this should take 24-48 hrs. Pop them in an airtight, opaque container, job done.
When ready to consume, grind them into a fine powder or chop the as small as you can with a sharp kitchen knife. Mix the powder with a small glass of orange juice and down the hatch. Come up real fast this way, I NEVER boil a tea with them.
Upto 30 shrooms (1g when dried) for a mild trip. Upto 120 shrooms (4g when dried) for a complete headfucking.
I find about 80 works best for me.
I did try 180 once, it was too much and was difficult to process but on the upside I did spend quite some time on an alien spaceship. The little grey dudes took not a blind bit of notice of me though which was a tad disappointing but at least I was spared the body fluid extraction that they often go in for.
