Second hand knowledge but yeah, golf courses and playing fields are supposed to work fine. It helps to have some grazing animals but it’s not necessary.

im gonna go out on a whim and say it is completely random where the little bastards grow, a place could be exactly the same as somwhere else and they may grow everywhere in one and never in the other they are picky little bastards, deer shit is the only thing iv observed, if there somwhere with deers which round here there is not then there tends to be mushrooms more often than not

Make sure there aren’t any bulls in the field where you intend to pick.

a friend may years ago was picking away and then became aware of a bull with ill intent.

it’s all to with whether or not there’s mycelium (sp?) under the ground. anywhere that has been ploughed or treated with chemicals is highly unlikely

haha i was taking photos up a farm and climbed over to a fence only to be charged at by possibly the second most agry bull in the world haha shit myself and lept back over the fence……….. hairy moment!!!

o right thanks for the advice, wont waste time on ploughed chemically treated fields! 😀

Yeh it would probably be the best idea to just get some empty capsules but if you can’t find any, Valerian Root has some pretty good ones.

Makes you fairly relaxed if you munch enuff Valerian as well. Tried the recommended number of capsules it sed on the bottle and it literally didn’t do owt tho. Also, open some windows when you empty the capsules coz it smells like cheesy sick.

It seemed like we were going to have great conditions this year with July being around the record for rainfall in my area, but the weather has turned around and we’re getting our June/July sunshine too late. Never thought I’d be missing shit summers:cry:

Hey all, recently decided i want to get back to the fun life of shrooms….last time i had em was the day they were made illegal ….going back a bit now so the effect should be great now….seeking locations in birmingham/solihull to go picking if any one knows…would also be interested in group picking sessions were we get picking to take back home and to take some while we pick and have a laugh as we go at it lol…:crazy:…it would be me and the missus picking….email me of locations and if intrested in group picking fun!!
